Haweswater Badger Hide, Monday 6 April
Head to RSPB Haweswater to spend time on a guided badger watch, discovering more about the beautiful animals. This is taking place on Monday 6 April between 8 pm and 9.30 pm and prices start from £12 for an RSPB member and £15 for a non-member.

Cumbrian Easter Rally, Saturday 11 to Sunday 12 April
If you love classic cars and vehicles, head down to the Cumbrian Easter Rally this year. It is taking place at several locations around Kirkby Stephen and is the UK’s largest free rally for commercial classic vehicles.

Aqueduct 10K, Crooklands, Sunday 19 April
To celebrate the reopening of the Stainton aqueduct towpath and the 200 year anniversary of the Lancaster Canal, the Aqueduct 10K is taking place. This is perfect for those who like to stay active and gives you a chance to enjoy the great outdoors. There is also a 1-mile event for those who are new to running.

Morecambe Comic Con, Monday 13 April
On Easter Monday the Morecambe Comic Con is happening once again! If you love comic books and superheroes, then this is the perfect day out for you. There will be plenty of items on display and there’s even Pokestops for fans of Pokemon Go.

Easter Eggcase Hunt, Fleetwood, Friday 17 April
Egg hunts are always great fun, especially if you’ve got children or grandchildren. There’s no better way to spend a day than on the beautiful Lancashire coastline searching for egg cases. The Lancashire Wildlife Trust Marne and Community Team have put together a great event with cases of eggs along the beach in Fleetwood to be found.
The day is free to attend and open to all family members. There’s no need to book, but you can find more details here.
90 Objects Exhibition, Lancashire Infantry Museum, until Saturday 18 April 2020
At the Lancashire Infantry Museum in Preston, they are currently running a 90 objects exhibition to mark 90 years of the museum. Set to end on Saturday 18 April, this is ideal for those who enjoy culture and history.
The museum is free to access and free parking is also available.
The Auckland Project, Bishop Auckland, Various Dates
Between April 4 and 19 The Auckland Project is taking place at Auckland Castle, close to both of our North East caravan sites. This gives children the change to create and plant their own biodegradable pot. As well as being creative, they also learn all about herbs.

Easter Fun at Breamish, Saturday 4 April to Monday 13 April
Annual Chick Hunt, Durham, Sunday 12 April to Monday 13 April
Over Easter weekend the Annual Easter Chick Hunt is taking place at The Botanic Garden in Durham. There will be several chicks hidden around the garden and they are there for you to mark off as you go around.
The event is free to attend and the gardens are open between 10 am and 4 pm.
